Baptism at Grace is one of our most important occasions. Jesus taught his followers to remember his death and resurrection. We do this by following his two special symbols: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe that Baptism is by immersion, a one-time act of obedient identification with Jesus as Lord. It serves as an outward sign of repentance and faith.
Our Baptism is by immersion after Salvation because it is a matter of:
- Submission – Our Lord commanded all who become His disciples to be baptized (Matthew 28:19-20).
- Identification – Our Lord was baptized as an example for us to identify with Him (Mark 1:9-10).
- Believer’s Baptism is at 9:30 a.m. on the last Sunday of every month at Grace Bible Church
- Baptism Class is at 9:00 a.m. on the Saturday preceding Baptism
